Oh my goodness
@besslevin
this is SOO much fun...
I have researched this extensively too. And also spoke to
@realDonaldTrump
about it. Wrote about it in

@davidenrich
is absolutely correct. Actions have consequences on Wall Street.
This is not true. I have spent a long time looking into this, and
@DeutscheBank
was the only bank willing to lend to
@realDonaldTrump
for 20 years because of his pattern of defaults and the bank’s hunger for growth in the US.
Rep. Maxine Waters, chair of the House Financial Services Cmte., tells Chris Hayes that Deutsche Bank is cooperating with the committee's investigation of President Trump.
For those of you, like me, who cannot imagine being angrier at and more disappointed with
@realDonaldTrump
— because you know how could it be worse than it already has been since June 2015 — I commend to you
@alexgibneyfilm
incredible and shocking new documentary film
Standing = the constitutional limits on the power of the federal judiciary. (Also, there are stacks of lower court rulings soundly rejecting his claims on the merits.)
It took 26 months start to finish to get this published.
Why has Wall Street not had its
#MeToo
moment you ask? This is why.

It might be a good thing for the country if Trump goes on thinking he’s getting a second term all the way up until he’s carried out of the White House on January 20, 2021. Gives him less time to betray our country on behalf of his foreign creditors.
When the CEO of the biggest bank in the country rails on about inequality and says unequivocally that we need to raise the minimum wage, don't you think it's time?

Lesley Stahl is probably the worst journalist on failing NBC News. She tried to trip me up so many times during the

total disaster interview. I even had to remind her that "I'm president, you're not." Thank god for real & truthful news sources like

!
I am reminding all followers to say 'please' & 'thank you' in these crazy times. People are going nuts. Don't allow it to get to you. Also to the haters - I want you to know I just hung up w Karma & she said she will be w you in a moment.

Bill McGlashan, late of the Rise Fund and current protagonist in the College Admissions Cheating Scandals, somehow got his priorities all wrong along the way to fame and fortune. My take on him and his role in the scandal
I have known

@ThomasFarley
is right.
I have asked

career and business advice regularly for 20 years. She is as smart & intuitive as anyone I know. Of course Kevin asks her advice. Kevin asks my advice on business issues too. This story belongs in a tabloid and not the WSJ and it is a tad sexist

Most interesting part of the Seth Klarman interview is that, unlike most other middle-aged white male hedge fund dudes, he's not dismissive and condescending towards younger, people of color with different views (even as he rejects their views).

My Years on Wall Street Showed Me Why You Can’t Make a Deal on Zoom
Probably not a popular thought, I know, but if you want to have a serious career on Wall Street, get back in the office. (If you're just treading water there, ignore!)
Too late for

Trump made his buildings look worse to the tax man and better to investors. Same buildings, different financials.
Could be “fraud.”

@DeutscheBank
Totally agree with
@SRuhle
.
@DeutscheBank
was a willing and eager participant in nearly everything Trump! Lending money for Trump Chicago even after Trump wouldn’t repay initial loan from bank on same project!
@jimzirin
Oh is he forgetting how he stiffed all the Wall Street banks on casino loans, eastern shuttle, the plaza etc I think he might be forgetting those and you’re right about Chicago tower default
Again, this is a complete distortion of what really happened. The three players were indicted by a Grand Jury (Nifong not involved), based on evidence provided by police, rape nurse. There was never a trial. Name another instance where no trial after indictment
