The 2023 Year in Review (or, as my wife calls it, Urine Review) is up in two parts. Heroic efforts by
@chrismartenson
and staff at Peak Prosperity for Herculean effort to get it ready with no time to spare...
I was just on a zoom with David Martin. Holy shit. Some serious vaccine pundits banging on what the hell is happening. Legal events are about to start playing out.
The lockdowns were, functionally, a bear raid on small businesses by large corporations. Show me an S&P 500 company that boarded up. Now ponder how many have expanded customer base by cannibalizing small businesses.
I am a "conspiracy theorist". I believe men and women of wealth and power conspire. If you don't think so, then you are what is called "an idiot". If you believe stuff but fear the label, you are what is called "a coward".
Bill Maher throws his hat into the ring to denounce Youtube and google for cwenoring lab leak and Ivermectin information. Guys like
@BretWeinstein
and
@PierreKory
are having an effect.
My super-athlete 32-year-old son just called and described symptoms of myocarditis, which showed up while he was sitting on the couch. He checked about 4–5 boxes in the symptom checklist. Not that happy about this at several levels to say the least.
We are told to have 6 months saved in case of emergency. Many try very hard to achieve this. Meanwhile, corporate America declares insolvency after one month? Send the bastards packing. Rip the C-suiters out of their offices, strip them naked, and do that Game of Thrones thing.
I must say that
@zerohedge
staff must have peed themselves laughing so hard when the Fauci email chain showed up with them worrying about how to handle the Zerohedge article on the lab origin. Kudos. My favorite consolidator of fine intellectual cuisine.
Had friends over. My wife kept wanting me to talk about the vaccine. Three times I said that was ill-advised. Well, we went there, and I completely lost my shit.
That Paypal has backed away from their plan to doc your bank account up to $2,500 on social media for posting misinformation is a bell that cannot be un-rung. It is foreshadowing of authoritarianism. Possibly unstoppable. It was a good run to now.
I told my class today that climate change was a load of garbage. It was as though I announced in a seminary there was no God...or took defecated on the floor.
"Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford has found something that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. The United States ranked dead last in media trust among 49 countries with just 29% saying that they trusted the media."

Here is the Bible—the Rosetta Stone—of Ivermectin. An incredibly thorough review from Japanese scientists looking from all imaginable angles. Parts will seem dense to some, but it's moving read.
Hat tip to filmmaker
@johntg83
for providing it.
I have this terrible feeling that we are witnessing the early stages of the Fourth Turning and somehow many of us thought we could watch it from outside the splash zone: "Oh. It will be bad but I will be OK." That's not what Fourth Turnings do.
Totally serious: My one regret is that the economic malaise and market corrections will all be blamed on the covid, letting a lot of bad actors off the hook. After a company has a debt crisis after debt-backed share buybacks, somebody's head should roll.
From an email...
If the face masks work,
why the 6ft?
If the 6ft works,
why the mask?
If both work,
why the lockdown?
If all three work,
Why the vaccine?
If the vaccine is safe,
Why the "No Liability " clause?
The reason I am banging so hard on share buybacks is because we are about to witness another mega-fraud committed by Big Government in cahoots with lobbyists to give free money to companies run by incompetent management.
I think this might be the article
@zerohedge
got banned for posting. Just checking for a friend. Whatever you do, don't post it independently (so it stays alive if I get banned). It would be a shame if it blanketed Twitter...
Give credit where credit is due: it was one of government's most efficient moves to begin modestly with a two-week lockdown and seamlessly transition to "we are going to destroy your lives if you don't obey."
JPM paid $1 billion to settle market manipulation charges. Nobody went to jail, and JPM admitted no wrong doing. I personally would like to see some people totally destroyed for that level of criminality (including share holders).

@Zerohedge
captures the Hotez-Rogan fiasco. Others kicked the debate offer over a million. Hotez is toast. The covid/vaccine narrative is toast.
@RobertKennedyJr
's biggest win.
Bad News: The 20% of the S&P that cannot pay interest on their debt with cash flow—zombies—are carrying $2.6 trillion in debt.
Good News: It will become very exciting at some point.
I m gonna beg y'all to read Kennedy's book. I will wager you can't get through 2-3 chapters without hurling. It is not fluff. It is intense and thoroughly documented. It will change your world view.
Hey
@jaketapper
. The reason is simple: the entire media shut it down. Every last one of you. You can't rewrite this history. You and your peers are 100% at fault. Y'all forgot you were supposed to be journalists. And this is just one topic.
Jake Tapper: "I have to say I'm surprised that there hasn't been a national conversation about the damage done to kids because of these school closures"
The largest manufacturer in the world has 500 million people quarantined owing to a virus that is said to be a killer, and the markets could not care less.
I will say it again: Anybody who tells you this nerve agent must have come from Russia is a liar--a complete and utter liar. They are simple compounds:
Zelensky appears to struggle to focus during an NBC News interview in which he claims Ukraine urgently needs weapons from allies to continue defending itself against Russia

This is the Cajun Navy heading to Houston to help hurricane victims a number of years ago. In modern parlance, they are called "deplorables", "white supremacists", "semi-facists", or "MAGA republicans." Let's go Brandon! (I am preparing a seminar.)
Today, I told a woman to delay the MMR vaccine until the kid was 2 yrs old. Another overheard me and called me "a fucking moronic antivaxxer who is the reason why this pandemic was not extinguised." I asked her, "Have you tried decaf?"
I know I am only a chemist, but I have tried really hard to find a cogent argument as to why 2% inflation is better than 0% inflation that isn't incoherent babble. So far, no luck.
For two years y'all were told to put any old rag over your face. Now they admit they are "facial decoration." Why would anybody listen to these liars, which is a group numbering in the millions at this point. Scientific illiteracy is The Rise of Authoritarianism. Fuck 'em.
We bailed out the cruise lines--foreign companies that pay no taxes, and hire foreign nationals and pay them $2/hr. We bailed out the airlines: companies that got into debt by buying back their shares. Why these companies? Two trillion dollar heist.
"Now roughly 72 percent of black New York City residents aged 18-44 are banned -- banned -- from entering dining establishments." Hey
@AOC
: are you OK with this? Your constituents might like to know.
I've realized that I am on the opposite side of virtually every issue presented in the media. Either I am nuts—a distinct possibility—or the media is a worthless sack of shit—another distinct possibility.
Suez canal clogged by a boat. Mississippi River clogged by a broken bridge. Colonial energy pipeline clogged by cyber attack. Meat packing plant clogged by cyber attack. Golly. No pattern here.
Five common traits of the most successful people:
1. have lots of equities
2. own yachts or private jets
3. spouses tend to be hot
4. always have somebody to keep their house clean
5. dress the part
Hope that helps. You're welcome.
"In North America two years ago, it cost around $200 an acre to fertilize a 1,000-acre commercial farm, Adams said. Right now, with spring planting, farmers can expect to pay $1,200 to $2,000 an acre."

You morons with your econ PhDs are gonna destroy the system. There is gonna be armed insurrection and when you are hanging upside down like Mussolini, you can ponder why negative interest rates and cashless society were a bad idea...
I am so sad. Twitter suspended the Best Tweeter in the Known Universe: Rudy Havenstein. He is not just in the penalty box. His account is gone. Rudy: If you are out there with a burner account, send me an email.
IMF is NOT bailing out Argentina with $56 billion. Argentina could just default. The IMF is bailing out the CREDITORS in this God-damned crooked global banking system that never punishes criminals and morons who lend the money. The bailouts are ALWAYS about bailing out creditors.
No. I am sorry. Many were not doing their best. They kicked many with alternative views out of the discussion, out of their jobs. You stepped on their throats. Nope. That is not your best. That is neo-Nazi shit, and it will happen again.
"I was on the board of my kids' school during COVID. I wanted a harsher lockdown policy. In retrospect: I was wrong. The damage to kids of keeping them out of school longer was greater than the risk. But here's the bottom line: We were doing our best. But let's give a little…
Greta Thunberg, one of the youngest environmental activists in the world, is at the Parliament today to share her views on how to tackle climate change. 🌍
Good news is that about 80% of Wall St traders were in school during the last big downturn so they will have studied it thoroughly and know what to do.
"It was the year 2020. Antiracist activists tore down statues of Abe Lincoln. The leading Presidential candidate was suffering from dementia. The Federal Reserve was monetizing junk corporate bonds. The economy had been destroyed by covid-19. Equities were at all-time highs."
"The Chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute [within] the $8.7 trillion investment firm BlackRock ...has a brother who is the Senior Advisor to Joe Biden; has a wife who is the White House Personnel Director; and has a daughter who is now on the National Security Council."

"My present point is simple: experimental vaccine—billions of people—at the same time. It utterly boggles the mind that so many otherwise reasonable people have been influenced to think this is a good idea."

We accrued $1 trillion of sovereign debt in 15 weeks. That could be as much as $10,000 per taxpayer (minimum $5,000). Tell me how this is gonna work out.
Everybody is cancelling everything--flights, meetings, conferences, etc. Nobody wants to be the chump that held the Meeting of Death. Global economy and supply chains are breaking down at breathtaking speeds (IMO).
My wife thinks I've gone nuts. I got it at dinner for about an hour. My son came to my defense: "Mom. What Dad is trying to tell you is that the world really is really THAT fucked up."
Moderna is now trying to bullshit its way out of a bind owing to their vaccine toxicities. Let's just get past the pleasantries and try these guys for murder...
“In a liquidity crisis, otherwise healthy firms collapse because they can’t access credit. The Fed can resolve such a crisis...In a solvency crisis, companies can’t survive no matter how much they can borrow: they need more revenue. The Fed can’t solve that.”

That bitch had somebody in her ear screaming to shut him down. What a rude sack of shit. The narrative was not the right narrative so stop it. Shut it down.
"29% of Democrats want kids taken away from parents who are unjabbed"
The first person through that front door would not make it. Pink mist. You Democrats are completely psychotic.
I just muscled through a draft of a chapter on the vaccine and pregnancy. I could rip the hearts out of the heads of the various medical associations with my bare hands. They are liars.
