My brother in laws mate committed suicide two days ago. They found his body yesterday afternoon at the bottom of a cliff. Leaves behind 3 girls and a wife. If you are in this place, please don’t feel like you are alone.

This morning, I’ve had to say goodbye to my Marley. It was horrible but the right thing to do. The vet and nurses were brilliant and she felt no pain. I on the other hand am. Raise your glass to Marley. She only ever nabbed two chooks. The toughest dog that I’ve ever known. ❤️💔

Just ran into a patient that I had about a month ago. He was having a heart attack. He was taken to the catheter lab and stented. He’s alive and had been trying to track me down to thank me. This has made my day. Absolutely winning.

The eldest whom we have had a lot of trouble with has been kicking his own goals of late. He went and got himself a job at Newcastle racecourse as a groundsman. He’s totally stoked with the gig and having a ball. The kid is 19 and did it all on his own. So all credit to him.

This morning. We’ve had a 20 minute sling session. He’s done a wee standing up whilst I was holding him. (First time in a week). Overnight he ended up in our doorway. Pushed him back and he got up and ‘walked’ to his bed. It’s his front leg mostly holding him back. Go Rupert, Go!
