Neighbors be advised of the active fire at 3040 W Lawrence. The marshal said it started in the second floor storage area. No injuries, thankfully everyone was able to get out of the building.

In order to combat #COVID19 , all bars & restaurants in Illinois will close for on-site consumption, starting at 9 p.m. on Monday, March 16 through March 30. During this time, customers may order food for delivery or takeout.

Trees Planting Around the Ward Recognizing the importance of trees to both beautify our neighborhoods and protect against climate change, funds will go toward planting birch trees in LaPointe Park as well as 25 new trees along Lawrence Ave, Montrose and Irving Park.
