“By 1 or 100, just win.” - Coach Henry
With tonight’s win, Coach Henry has won his 500th career game! Winning is not only an expectation, but a tradition that he has ingrained in this program since he was hired 22 years ago. Congratulations Coach Henry, many more to come!
It hurts our hearts to announce that our season ended today due to the coronavirus. We finish the season with a 30-3 record, a Heart of America Regular Season Championship and winning the Conference Tournament Championship!
We have several seniors that have decided to use their extra year of eligibility due to CoVid, so we decided to do an “I’m Back” series so Statesmen Nation can see who decided to return and why! First up, Q Cager!!!
We want to congratulate Karmari Newman on breaking the all-time career three point record set by Taylor Stoutner in 2013! This incredible edit made by Graduate Assistant, Wade Votroubek, shows every single 3 pointer made by Karmari in his 3 seasons at WPU.
4 PEAT🏆🏆🏆🏆
We win our 4th consecutive Heart of America Conference Tournament Championship! We are the first team in conference history to win 4 in a row. Big win against Peru State as Malik Edwards has 24 pts. We move to 28-3 on the season!
Doesn’t mean a lot, but the recognition and respect we’ve earned is appreciated and honestly pretty cool! Preseason number one according to Street & Smith Magazine for the second year in a row!
Congratulations to Chanze Cruesoe for becoming the all time assist leader in William Penn men’s basketball history! Chanze surpassed Blake Walker tonight after he got his 3rd assist.
Beat Grand View 101-71 in the annual “Toilet Paper Game” and we improve to 9-1 on the season and 3-1 in conference. Special thanks to the operations staff that does an amazing job at providing an incredible gameday experience for our fan base!

Statesmen Nation,
Thank you for being behind us all season. From the fans who made the trip to KC, to the fans at the watch parties, to the PennZone, etc. we greatly appreciate everything you do for us. Regardless of the outcome, this season was special. Thank you!
Surprised the guys with some two hand touch football yesterday for conditioning! Brandon Faison was the MVP, while Eddie Daley had a strong showing as well. Checkout Q Cager’s pass to Faison as he finishes with a big time catch!
🏆CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS🏆
The Statesmen win back to back Conference Tournament Championships with a 92-76 win against Benedictine! Our selection show will be on Thursday, March 4th at 7:00 PM!

and is majoring in Business Management!
Yesterday we had the privilege of visiting Oskaloosa Elementary and participated in their “Dining at the Ritz”! There were dance offs, video game trash talk, rap battles, backflips and great conversations! Hopefully the kids enjoyed it as much as our players and staff did!

We close out the holiday on a high note as we pick up a win over Iowa Wesleyan 104-92. We are 9-0 on the season now and will be back in action on Wednesday at home against Grand View.
Sadly our season ended yesterday with a two point loss in the Sweet Sixteen. We want to give a special thank you to our dedicated fans who showed support throughout the entire year!
WE ARE DANCING IN KANSAS CITY!

We had a tough first half, but explode for 54 points in the second half to get the win and move on to the Sweet Sixteen! Malik Edwards lead the way with 23 pts and 4 rebs. See you in KC!
