Wow.
That holding call was absolute terrible. Penix finally hits a big throw and they negate it over literally nothing.
Especially when Michigan has held every play all game.
Regardless of the outcome next Monday, UW has accomplished more in 2 years under DeBoer than Oregon has in the entire history of their football program.
Let that sink in.
There is only one team in the entire Pac-12 era that finished the regular season 12-0.
The University of Washington football team in 2023😎
GO DAWGS!! WHAT A SPECIAL SEASON!!☔️☔️☔️
In DeBoer's first season at Sioux Falls, they ended up losing to Carroll (MT) by a margin of 55 points.
Following that game, DeBoer saw the adjustments that needed to be made and went on to win 3 out of the next 4 national championships, going 56-1 over that span. We'll be back
I'm going to bed smiling tonight, knowing all that this team accomplished.
Won 21 straight games.
Beat Oregon twice in one season.
Forever Pac-12 champs.
Won the Sugar Bowl vs Texas.
QB finished 2nd in the Heisman voting.
And we have the coach of the year. Just surreal☔️☔️
Can we just all take a moment and agree that Marvin Harrison Jr doesn't belong anywhere near the Heisman conversation? He's not even been the most dominant WR in CFB, let alone overall player😂😂
It's a complete joke that the media is force feeding him into the conversation😂
People from the south rigged the vote by leaving Penix off their list entirely so he has less points. In order to ensure that their 'guy' won.
This is what the award has come to. Heisman has lost all meaning until they change who votes on it.
I weirdly have gained a lot of respect for Dan Lanning after watching all of this go down. Good for him for sticking true to the commitments he made to his players and the university that believed in him.
I've never blocked anyone on this app before today. I've never felt like any joke was "too far" or anything like that because I'm generally a guy with pretty thick skin. It takes a lot to actually offend me. I talk trash on here, but I almost always try to keep it about football.…
Daniels is going to go down as one of the worst Heisman winners of our generation if he wins today.
In my opinion, you have to he an otherworldly player to win the award on a 3 or 4 loss team. Stat padding against bad teams on your schedule shouldn't win you a Heisman.
I'm not trying to be a "downer" but anyone who says that we're in a better spot 'now' than before DeBoer left, is lying to themselves.
We made the best hire available, which is good news. That does not mean we're poised for immediate success. Fisch has work to do, IMO.
I've been silent about the whole Big 10 thing because it doesn't appeal to me. I think the Big 12 is our best bet. We'd be the premiere brand in that conference and we'd likely have sustained success. I don't see that happening if we join the Big 10.
Big 12 is the move, IMO.
It'll be interesting to see if UW can pull off what literally NOBODY has been able to do this season:
That's beating Oregon.
They've been an unstoppable force all season long, running through every single opponent.
Can Washington pull off the impossible this weekend??
Don't let your Tuesday morning distract you from the fact that Washington beat Oregon's best team in the history of their program, TWICE.
Once at home, once on a neutral field.
We made the ducks BOW DOWN😎

To those of you Oregon fans who are being nice and choosing to take the high road by not throwing it in my face that DeBoer is leaving...
1. Thank you for your good intentions
2. I recommend that you don't do that because I was fully planning on throwing it in your face when I…
This is a Carson Bruener appreciation post. He might be the greatest kickoff coverage player I've ever seen at UW.
I swear he gives kick returners nightmares😂😂
Click that heart button if you appreciate everything that the amazing LB has done for us this year.

Now that I've allowed myself to be toxic following the win for 24 hours, I'll say this.
MAJOR props to the 99% of duck fans for not making excuses following the game. I saw great sportsmanship following a close loss to a bitter rival. Which is really cool.
In 2016, when we made the playoff, I knew we had zero chance going into it. I was just happy that our team accomplished as much as they did.
This year, I know that this team's ceiling is limitless. If they take care of business and play at their best, they can beat anyone.☔️🏹
Oregon has announced their uniforms for the upcoming Pac-12 championship game this weekend.
These uniforms pay homage to the vintage, while making a nod toward the modern age of Ducks football.
I'm hearing that we don't stand a chance against Michigan on Monday, guys.
Michigan is just too physical for us, and their defense is too good for our offense to move the ball against.
They're going to sack Penix while only rushing 3 and dropping 8. Time to pack it in.
This is a Devin Culp appreciation post. He came HUGE again against USC yesterday.
Click that heart button if you appreciate everything that the amazing TE has done for us this year.

Imagine if UW played Eastern WA today instead of a top 11 team on the road.
What a boring Saturday that would be!
The SEC is soft, until they play a real schedule, they will continue to be overrated and inflated in the rankings.
SpartanMag .com publisher Jim Comparoni on the crowd noise at Husky Stadium:
"It was one of the loudest crowds I've ever been around. Up there with Ohio State I'd say. ..it was somehow louder than a dome (stadium) if that's possible.."
Husky Stadium is BACK!!🔥😎

"I have WASHINGTON as the most overrated team in CFB in the 2023 preseason. AP poll has them around 11th, we have them in the mid 20's."
-Josh Pate, 2023 preseason
Booger on
@AlwaysCFB
today made his national championship pick:
Texas!
He has UW ranked as the 4th best team in the playoff due to our lack of talent, and because we play "basketball on grass," not "big boy football".
Washington: *beats AP top 30 team by 40 points*
Colorado: *beats AP number 17 team on the road*
Oregon fans: "BuT wE sCoReD 80 oN aN FcS TeAm!!!"
Their insecurity is obvious, and it stems from their HC stat padding for national recognition.
Wait... how did we miss this?
Oregon's defense gave up almost DOUBLE the points that UW's did against ASU.
Our defense is being slept on nationally. Held Oregon St to their lowest point total on the season.
Oregon had a let down 12 win season
Oregon St has NEVER had a 12 win season
We are not the same. Beavs talking any shit is hilarious to me and it always will be.
Little bro
From 0-12 in 2008 under Willingham...
Now to 12-0 just 15 years later under DeBoer.
Sticking with a team through its highs and lows makes the highs that much more special. What a special season.
I LOVE MY DAWGS!!☔️☔️🏹
BREAKING: Washington landed the state's No. 1 recruit in the 2025 class, Spanaway (Wash.) Bethel linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale just hours before they play for a national title and he breaks down why he picked the home-state Huskies
JUST WIN BABY!!!!!
FOURTEEN. AND. ZERO.
WINNERS WIN!!!
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND!!!! HOLY CRAP!!! GO FREAKING DAWGS!!! IM SHAKING RIGHT NOW!!

A UW spokesperson confirms that edge rusher Zach Durfee will be eligible to play after Dec. 15, the end of the current academic quarter. So he will be eligible for the College Football Playoff.
My dad is not doing well health wise. He's been in and out of the hospital for 10 days now. Doctors don't know what's wrong and he's having another episode right now. If you're the praying type please pray for him to get better. Its really hard seeing him like this, he's my hero.
One thing that duck fans don't realize is we're missing a top 2 WR in CFB right now, and we've been missing him since game 3.
Jalen McMillan is like Troy Franklin if Troy Franklin were better in every way, you don't think that a WR like that being absent makes a difference??…
Oregon only beat USC by 9 AT HOME. (Which I thought home wins don't count!?)
Washington beat them by 10 ON THE ROAD.
We are so clearly the better team eye test wise.
Genuine question:
Has Oregon ever won 17 games in a row in the history of their entire football program?
I did some research and couldn't find a season where they ever did.
If so, then that would mean DeBoer did something in two years at UW that no Oregon coach has EVER done.
The Washington v Oregon rivalry game looks to be permanently moved to rivalry weekend in the last Saturday of November starting in 2024. Which means it deserves an official name.
Let's hear everyone's suggestions down below, and then I'll do a poll in a few hours👇👇👇
Kalen DeBoer is wired different. This staff is built different. The energy in the program is way different than it’s ever been. The players feel it, the parents feel it, the recruits feel it. This weekend will end up being a statement for the football program…
@UWFBopinions
@Mar38124076
If you think your Trajectory is better than Oregons going to the B1G with your recruiting class idk what to tell you 🤷🏿♂️ that's just being honest
UW fans and duck fans who can admit that both Penix and Bo Nix are elite, are the true warriors on this app that I respect.
That being said, Nix was a check down merchant in college.
Why would ANYONE not want to be DAWG???
This is so awesome😂😂 DeBoer has taken us to heights I never would've imagined. DAMIAN LILLARD is a UW fan.

...says the man that vanished off the face of the Earth after last Monday when UW won and made you eat your words?? Lmao
You couldn't stand in the paint when you were wrong and you're trying to call other people out for it😂 Hypocrisy.
*BREAKING*:
Dan Lanning's house was listed for sale today in Eugene, Oregon!!!
For those Duck fans who denied that he was taking the A&M job, explain this!!
Duck fans: "It takes time"
UW fans: "It does? ...KDB took over a 4-8 team with a roster that you made fun of, immediately won 11 games in year 1, and beat you when you had a roster that you bragged about... he then proceeded to go undefeated and make the CFP the very next…
It's takes time.
Coach Lanning is building something special at Oregon. Every team will have ups & downs. That's part of success. This team this year fought every week. I'm very much proud of their effort & dedication to their game.
Mighty Oregon will be back in 2024.
#GoDucks
Michael Penix Jr. said it would be hard to explain how he broke down film for teams…and then gave us an excellent example of how he broke down film for teams:
This UW offense is INSANE. We feature a QB with over 4k passing yards and nearly 40 TDs. TWO 1k WRs in Rome Odunze and Ja'Lynn Polk. AND a 1k yard rusher in Dillon Johnson who adds 14 rushing TDs.
Michael Penix:
307/466 (65.9%) for 4218 yards & 36 total TDs
Rome Odunze:
81 rec,…
Duck fans: "We only lost to UW by 3, so that's basically a win for us and we're undefeated!!"
Also duck fans: "UW only won by 7, 3, 8, and 9 points in their last 4 games. So those are all basically losses. They're a 4-4 team!!"
This years National Championship between Michigan & Washington drew 25.1 Million viewers.
That’s the most since 2019 when LSU played Clemson in a star studded showdown, drawing 25.5 Million Viewers.
Georgia vs TCU: 17.2M
Georgia vs Alabama: 22.6M
Alabama vs Ohio State: 18.7M
Finally we get scheduled with the best CFB in Utah. It's really refreshing to play against teams that are really about playing anyone, anytime, and anywhere.

Issue was TV partner needed location by yesterday, due to hoilday week. Many TV production trucks are based in Northwest, etc. Otherwise, game would have be in SLC. Its all good...with no fans, its a whole different deal this year. Just thrilled to play-
*This* is why you never make fun of the way a good team plays against a "bad" Pac-12 team when you have to play that "bad" team later in the season:
• Beavs: Made fun of UW for beating Zona by one score, later loses to Zona.
• Cougs: Made fun of UW for struggling against ASU,…
One thing after tonight is clear:
UW broke USC today. The team has now given up on their season.
They won't be the same team after this game and they'll play the worst they've played going forward.
