Babies on board! We elevated a camera to take a look inside this tree cavity only to find a cuddle puddle of 5 baby raccoons! Babies are born blind and deaf. After about 3 weeks their eyes and ear canals will open.

Weighing about 10 US nickels, the California least tern is the world's smallest tern!
In late April, pairs reunite along the CA coast. To renew their vows, the male must display a small fish to his lady. Hope she accepts!

A gorgeous gorget! Meet the Lucifer hummingbird, a very handsome devil. Male Lucifers are identified by their long curved bill and iridescent throat feathers, which are called a gorget. They can be found in AZ, NM and West TX.

USFWS Federal Wildlife Canine Officer Pete Harvey (FWCO) and K9 Togo, were recently requested to assist the Alaska State Troopers. After a long search through rain and bad weather, K9 Togo located a firearm under a thick layer of moss. Well done FWCO Harvey and Togo!
