They've abused this guy so much for having normal emotions that when he has a legitimate reason to be angry he has to bottle it up for the cameras lest he be called immature.
An aspect of this not being discussed is that this is the first time Zhou has actually been appreciated. He is largely treated with disdain by a lot of fans/commentators. And there's a heavy element of racism/xenophobia involved. I'd also be crying if I finally had recognition.
If Yuki had driven like Kevin Magnussen did today, he would have been called reckless and there'd be kamikaze pilot memes all over F1twt. Kevin was third in Driver of the Day. There's a reason Yuki can't do what Kmag did. And it's not a skill deficit.
Yuki drags the 2023 shit box into the points multiple times = he's not good enough.
Daniel fails to score points in the 2024 not-quite-as-shit box = the car is not good enough.
Right.
I get really emo for Zhou and Yuki when they get to go home. It's the one time they can be truly appreciated and respected, before returning to the hell of F1 commentary.
The worst part of that crash is that Yuki was on the cusp of the points. P13 with at least one and possibly two drivers ahead needing to pit before the end of the race. That would have been P11. One overtake and we would've had a yoint. Magnussen better get penalty points.
Why would Yuki go to Haas next year when he can stay at VCARB for another season? And why would VCARB not renew his contract? Honda are still engine suppliers to Red Bull. Faenza is his home. He's only leaving if he can go to a better team. He's loyal AF.
🚨 As per Chris Medland "Yuki Tsunoda is also interested in Haas as he looks at a future away from the Red Bull program" as RBR have showed no interest in promoting him despite his performances
[]
Is this Yuki's home? Cos I can hear a bird in the background. It sounds like a pet bird. Does Yuki have a pet??? (Also Sky F1 podcast with Yuki: link below)
I just wanna say I think it's very unfair that Magnussen used dirty tactics to get ahead of Yuki/keep Yuki behind him, and was not made to give back the position, cos that was a deliberate breaking of the rules to benefit the other Haas driver. But also fuck this VCARB tractor.
In Yuki's post lap interview, when they showed him a clip of his overtaking, and he quietly said, "That was Pierre" with a little smile. The love they have can move mountains.
Just watched a YouTuber say that Tsunoda "got put in the blender by Ricciardo in the last couple of races" of the 2023 F1 season.
Which races? The ones where Yuki got fastest lap, led a GP, won driver of the day and quintupled his team's points? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I dunno why everyone is offended by this. I'm a massive Yuki fan and I think it's funny. It's not saying he's a clown, it's saying he's the odd one out.
Nah, actually this is hilarious. First it was a bad chassis, then it was a dud set of tyres, now it's that Honda allows Yuki to use a higher engine mode but don't allow Max, Checo or Daniel to do so. Bffr.
Yuki said he hit the wall at one point. He also slid at the chicane. This is why you don't leave it to the last minute. If that was Yuki's call, he needs to wake the fuck up. He's not in a Red Bull. If that was VCARB's call, they need to wake the fuck up. They're not Red Bull.
🗣️| Yuki Tsunoda after Sprint Quali:
"Yeah, struggled from FP1 I would say with the balance and yeah just grip in general. So.. even in Quali we tried a lot of things, but didn't work. Also I wasn't able to put it all together as well, but at the same time just struggled with
George Russell has crashed more times in the last 25 races than Tsunoda has. In fact, George Russell has crashed at over 18% of the last 11 races. No one is calling him a Merc Merchant, or saying he's getting special treatment because he's British. 20% of the grid is British FFS.
@Scuderia_Max22
He's taken seriously because he's representing an under-represented country in F1. He would just be a Giovinazzi or Latifi if he was European because no one would give him that much chances after all those crashes.
Though I love Yuki and I'm in love with Japan and Japanese
How I'm gonna sleep tonight knowing my driver is Yuki Tsunoda, a calm, collected Short King who, despite a myriad if challenges this weekend, proved the haters wrong. A DNF is not the end of the world. Good night Yuki Nation.
Here's to always celebrating the wins, no matter how big or how small! Thank you to everyone at Faenza for all the hardwork. Y'all are the real MVPs

The quotes and comments on that **** tweet. I see Charles, Seb, Lewis, Lance, Oscar and other fandoms just piling on 🤣 no wonder that fandom only got 9%.
I think we need to be realistic about the Sprint + Sprint Quali. It's Yuki's first time there, the Haas is looking faster than normal, so we're maybe the seventh fastest car this weekend. He's gonna learn some shit, then come back for main Quali with a better idea of what to do.
ℹ️| Yuki was just learning the track, 60 minutes is a very short time, he only did two push laps on softs, asking how much he was losing, how to get more time in the third sector, yeah it will be very difficult.

F1 podcaster on '23 Alpha Tauri: "When Liam was in the car they seemed to do really well and then they faded off again."
Huh? Yuki scored 14 points, he got Fastest Lap at COTA, double points in Brazil, DOTD in Abu Dhabi. Daniel quali'd P4, finished P6 in Mexico. All post-Lawson.
Yuki is three points away from matching his 2023 points haul. We're only six races into the season. The absolute glow-up we are witnessing for this team+driver pairing.
Reminder: Trump was found liable by a jury for the sexual assault of E. Jean Carroll. He is also currently on trial for election interference and campaign finance violations. I can't believe McLaren actually approved this. It's so toxic.
"If he can just show that he can be a team leader-"
75% if all points scored by Alpha Tauri/VCARB since the start of the 2023 season have been scored by Yuki. 80% of the team's points finishes have been achieved by Yuki.
Matt needs to open his eyes.
