My rental car this week is a @Ford Mustang 5.0 gas car… it was 10 speeds… and it’s shockingly slow, unresponsive and constantly gear searching, compared to my @Tesla Model 3 Performance. EVs will blow people away

@alex_avoigt Can’t believe the benefit isn’t understood… we put this on major highways… model 3 4miles/kWh means 15kWh for 60mph… and it never drops range…. Compared to spiking grids charging at 250kW when stopped… this is huge. Not for everywhere, but huge

Biggest pet peeve so far on the ID4 is this start button. EVs should not have start buttons! It’s so complicated to roll down windows or back up while charging… because the car keeps entering various states.

@klwtts The Tesla port is very clever, same pins deliver AC or DC, small & one hand wieldable. I’m all for standards but the CCS plug here in the US is worse in every way. Let’s standardize! And let’s pick the better plug! Need to sort out 800+ V systems, should be doable
