24 MPs received donations from the northern broadband firm IX Wireless. 22 of them had previously given public money to fund the NRG. In a number of cases, the donation comes just a few days or weeks after the payment to the NRG.

24 is a lot less than 54, obviously. But worth noting that in 2018 the threshold to challenge May was 48. Public letters when the VONC was triggered? About 20.

One of the more remarkable series of interviews we've ever filmed. @SamCoatesSky quizzing professional lobbyists on the APPG system they use to influence policy. It's not pretty... #WestminsterAccounts

'Research groups' have sprung up to fight specific factional battles. Most are in the Tory Party. The best known is the European Research Group. Once fronted by Jacob Rees-Mogg. The hardest Brexiteers in parliament. And funded by £390,000 of public money since 2010.

Fact of the night from the Lib Dems in Tiverton: the last time this area around Honiton was not represented by a Conservative MP was the year before Queen Victoria came to the throne 👑 Tory sources here think that 200 year streak might be about to end.
