And I would add Alexander remembers Watergate. We will see what he learned from it. @sbg1

As we all wait for Alexander's decision, I keep coming back to this: All 15 previous Senate impeachment trials have had witnesses. Is Trump really going to be the one guy in American history to get acquitted without even having to have witnesses testify in his Senate trial?

The Whistleblower complaint is from a patriot who understands and fears Abuse of Power. If even 50 % of his fears are accurate, we are in a variation of Nixonland again.

Another sign that the US Military is turning its back on a reckless Commander-in-Chief; and that Esper and Milley's actions as enablers on Monday caught flak from the broader US military.

What is especially annoying about Iowa’s ongoing Caucus Chaos is that it has delayed the celebration of a civil rights first: the first out LGBTQ candidate has either won or come very close to winning a presidential primary. Just think of that. Whatever your politics: that’s 🌈

Republicans are now arguing about process in a debate over accountability for a violent and blatant effort to obstruct process. The Constitution doesn't detail the Impeachment process but it does make clear that the President must "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitution.

Majority Leader McConnell’s vow to coordinate his actions with the White House in the looming Senate Trial of President Donald J. Trump is a violation of his Constitutional duty. Period.

Where is GOP outrage at Trump's bullying of the DOJ? With the noble exception of Never Trumpers, the GOP has given up its traditional defense of individual liberty in favor of the defense of presidential liberty. Tragic that so many Americans do not understand what's at risk.
