You have to be an absolute ghoul to be advocating against the vitamin K shot in newborns. The choice is between a well-tolerated, safe shot or a brain/intestine/organ bleed that will either leave your child forever neurologically impaired or dead. It shouldn’t be hard.

A 7 yo child in my best friend’s neighborhood just died of MIS-C. As of Jan 3 (most recent data) there have been 6,431 cases in kids and 55 deaths. With cases exploding, this number is bound to rise too. It does impact the kids. Let’s be reasonable about protecting them.

When I am worried about my child or I have basic questions about their development, my *first* call is always to consult with an oncologist who specializes in cancer in adults rather than a pediatrician who specializes in…all things children.

It is not unreasonable to mask in the classroom or out in public. The risk of injury or death from Covid is significantly higher than any risk posed by the Covid vaccine. Talk to your friends, family, neighbors. You may be the one person they listen to - someone who cares.

@dharrissherling That’s a lot different than arming yourself to go to a violent rally and then shooting and killing 2 people and injuring another. At minimum it calls into question your empathy, compassion and decision-making. Stealing a car at age 15 is a very different thing.

I’m sorry that so many of us are feeling this way. The past several weeks have been horrifying. Please take care of yourself and, if you find you’re ready, go to the rallies & state legislative hearings. Give testimony. Most importantly, find your people to do these things with!
