@Sutty1958 A common misconception. In fact true total blindness is extremely rare. In ophthalmology this is defined as an eye that cannot perceive any light at all. The term "blind" has now been replaced by visually impaired because of this. Let's try and educate the ignorant.

This includes trains, theatres etc. Public - take note.

@Nadine_Writes @afrilivesmatter I am a doctor & a black woman. My mum's breast cancer was missed on mammography. My sepsis took 7 hrs to diagnose because I "looked too well to be so sick". Textbooks dont feature black skins, studies don't feature black subjects. Med profession must work to fix this.

The public don't care where they go as long as it's free. NHS left with all the difficult cases - okay for a consultant but too difficult for our trainees.

It was flagged on the electronic record and the patient ejected until they had written a letter of apology to the CEO. It worked well.

It is such an important event and the march involved everyone, not just black people, because a young life has been tragically snuffed out. The support from ordinary people, outraged at the death of this young boy, was very moving.

@SholaMos1 In 1972 when my mother had her third child by caesarean she named her after the obstetrician who did all the hard work. The obstetrician was overwhelmed with delight. Why would you ever object to someone using your name for their new child? It is a very flattering tribute.

@SusieMadrak The gorgeous DaVinci's Last Vision by an artist called Gordon Harris. It reminded me of my late husband's beard and mischievous, twinkling eyes and he bought it for me at a pop up London art show. All pencil, believe it or not - incredible talent.

@irisstylosa @ChristineJameis Not if they honour and learn from every holocaust - slavery, native American, clearances, Cambodia etc but there is an obsession with the Nazi destruction of the Jewish people as the only holocaust in the history of mankind and I would find that objectionable currently.
