I loved @CamiRusso from @DefiantNews talk @EthCC Her advice was to not try outsmarting regulators, by being decentralized before your ready or an anon team. Ooki DAO members were held liable by SEC & Tornado cash users were prosecuted. So just built honestly & in the open !

Was great meeting @owocki at the plurality conference. Insightful talk on history of @gitcoin - $73 million in funding over 15 rounds over 3 years. Learnt that outcome verification of gitcoin projects done by community that stops voting for a project due to nonperformance !

Retroactive funding of public goods has more of a free rider problem than ​donations Why should I pay for work that's already done ? Can't I just give it for the next phase of ​the same project  ? The real tradeoff for donors is retroactive vs milestone based funding. 🧵 time

It's great that we're converging toward a standard of $100/hr for work in DAOs like arbitrum, irrespective of experience geography or work Much less friction in negotiating when there's a pay rate already determined, it then only becomes about whether we want to work with them

My wife and i are apartment hunting in bangalore & just realised being a property broker is fully outcome based funding And it's super unfair, we spent all day with a broker & paid him nothing whereas in under an hour we like a place & that broker gets 1 month rent 😲
