I am trying to encourage people who haven't got a Welsh pyramid team to adopt one for next season!
Let's get Welsh league football global folks! ⚽️🏴🌍
Forget the 2 year World Cup, I want to see 32-team tournament played between the 32 lowest ranked countries in the FIFA World Rankings!!
Now that is something I want to watch!
I'm absolutely amazed and ecstatic with the response to people adopting a Welsh club so far. 😊😊
If you need any help picking a team, let me know.
Let's get the Welsh leagues global! ⚽️🏴🌍
In preparation for the 2024-25
@CymruLeagues
North season, we have created a map showing the locations of all 16 teams who will be competing in the northern second-tier league.
#footballmap
So I have been a bit quiet recently and I suppose I had better let you know what I have been up to...
...I am attempting to write a book on the history of the
@CymruLeagues
from its foundation in 1992 to the current day. It's a monumental task but I'm going to give it a go!
@TFHBs
This season is the first season since the 1930-31 season that neither Sir Stanley Matthews, Peter Shilton, or Gigi Buffon has played a game during the season.
Getting pretty fed up of supposed Welsh "national news" TV reports not mentioning any Welsh football results. Welsh Cup semi final today, a massive game of the season, and no mention of it whatsoever... 😑🤷♂️
It's finally done, all the
#Flintshire
club profile pages have been created on the blogsite.

A temporary change of logo this weekend as it'll be the 5th anniversary of starting this whole groundhopping & blogging adventure! Nice! 😊

It always makes me so happy to see people enjoy reading my blogs, and I love shining attention on clubs within the Welsh football pyramid.
A big diolch to all of the clubs who have contributed and answered my questions so far, it is always truly appreciated!
The performances of Welsh clubs in Europe indicated that either the season needs to start earlier and before the European qualifiers start to get clubs up to speed, or Welsh football needs the switch over to summer football.
Clearly, changes in the CP are needed very soon.
@BBCSportWales
A simple request, please. Could you read out Cymru Premier results in the Welsh news reports? As it's the national league of Wales, I feel it should be given coverage during the TV news reports. Thank you.
Sadly my mental health has taken a battering this weekend so I am off work today and not feeling the greatest 🥺
However I do hope you all have a great day this Monday, and that everything goes brilliantly for you today.
A very poor show from the Daily Post by having only the bare minimum of coverage on the Welsh teams in Europe. It's examples like this that really get on my nerves...😡😡
Bala and TNS having massive wins last night in the Europa League, putting Welsh football on the map. And this is the
@DailyPostSport
this morning. Absolute joke.
Plans for 2022:
1. Appear in more interviews/podcasts and overcome the anxiety.
2. Be involved in or start a wrestling podcast.
3. Visit more grounds and write about them.
4. Encourage more people to write for 94thMin.
5. Be more active & learn languages.
6. Write more lists.

I'm absolutely disillusioned by the way the FAW has treated the national leagues this season tbh. So many failures that could have been avoided that it just comes across that they have very little to no interest in the national pyramid 😔😔

Right back to the football and groundhopping...
There are 4 games going on in the
@CymruLeagues
tonight, although once again,
@BBCWalesNews
failed to show the fixtures in this evening's report, yet showed the fixtures played in the English leagues.
Poor, BBC Wales, very poor...
Today's events shouldn't define a league or country. The vast majority of Welsh games are family friendly and welcoming, with supporters of both teams mingling amongst each other. We are all part of the same community that wants to see Welsh league football thrive.
A hell of a league campaign from
@HolywellTownFC
this season.
Worth noting they had the best defence in the Cymru North with just 22 goals conceded.
Considering 9 of those goals were conceded in 2 of the first 3 games of the season, 13 goals in 28 league games is incredible! 💪🏻

Absolutely 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 support from the town of Flint and wider. 👏👏
Just dawned on me that it's now 6⃣ years since I started blogging and groundhopping - well that's gone very, very quick!
Anyway here is where I was 6 years ago:
It's a big NO from me - every four years is enough, especially with the increased amount of 48 teams from 2026 onwards.
Feel this could be the start of the argument that certain countries should automatically qualify for the World Cup because of their "history".
World football leaders are set to meet tomorrow at FIFA's 71st assembly to discuss the feasibility of holding a men's and women's World Cup every two years instead of every four. (Source:

Wales were so dominant this evening, even the Irish lad with the Welsh surname managed to score 😂🏴
An absolutely amazing performance tonight from the entire team. Ethan Ampadu looked incredible in the regista role, and Connor Roberts' goal was top class!

I have updated some of the information for the Flintshire Club Profile page on the blogsite. If there are any errors or any further info you would like on each team, let me know! Thanks 👍
I think today has to be one of the worst days in football. I have never been so disillusioned and fed-up with a game I absolutely adore.
The perpetual greed from so many areas of the game just sickens me to the core.
This isn't the sport I fell in love with as a child.
Of all the lost lands of ancient Britain, perhaps the most intriguing is that of Cumbria – a Wales beyond Wales.
And while the Latin for Wales is "Cambria", that shared heritage runs far deeper.
Cumbria also shared a language, and a people.

Let them 'big clubs' go and be part of a Super League then.
English football might be more competitive and egalitarian without these five clubs constantly moaning and striving to change the rules so they can pool even more money into their inflated bank balances.

This is absolutely horrendous that clubs are being forcibly relegated for essentially not being one of the "big clubs" in Welsh men's football.
The Women's Premier League has now become a franchised league and it's a disgrace...
Question for football fans
If unfashionable Reading or Brighton Ladies finished mid table this year in the Womens Premier league and were told they had to swap places with Liverpool Ladies because they had a bigger sponser and a better training ground would this be accepted?
So pleased for everyone involved with
@CaernarfonTown
today. Remember when the Cofis and Holywell were competing in the old Welsh Alliance League, so to see them finally qualifying for Europe is a huge achievement and shows how far they have progressed. 💛💚👏👏
