There are so many things you can’t learn at school and so many reasons why we are incredibly proud of our pupils and the inspiring community created by
@ClwydTweets
I am sure you have lots of questions regarding today's announcement- as you know we get the information the same time that you do and we are awaiting the guidance due next week - I will make sure you have the information you need as soon as possible
Guess which group of footballers 🥅 ⚽️ have just won the Mold cluster competition 🏆 🥇 and will now be progressing to play winners of Buckley and Castell Alun cluster? Da iawn all 👏

Thank you all for your support for our Race For Life . During the event we heard the sad news about our beautiful Pat Thomas - so today we raced in memory of her and of all our loved ones who have been affected by cancer
Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus!!!! So good to see so many pupils wearing their guiding uniforms, traditional Welsh costumes or red.

Ex pupil , super star and one of two of Mrs Barry's daughters who are both right on the front line doing all they can - it is hard for her to see them go to work - we can all do our bit for them and stay at home
Ysgol Sychdyn can be as proud as I am, to call this beautiful, hard working, loyal and incredibly caring young woman ... my daughter ❤️

It made our day to have a visit from Mr Smith - Head Teacher
@ArgoedHS
he delivered a post card thanking year 5 - in his words; 'Their conduct and enthusiasm was outstanding throughout the day!' What more could we ask for!
A really humbling experience being at the War Museum today and the staff are so proud of year 5 and 6 whose respectful behaviour and questions prompted one of the museum staff to say they were the best school group they had had there.
What a great surprise to start 2023 with! AE told us in assembly today about how his family had decorated their home with Christmas lights over the holiday period and received donations from passers-by, which they have once again donated to school. Diolch to the Elwell family!
We love seeing what our children create at home - Isn't this painting beautiful - it reminds me of warm sunshine - perfect to cheer us up on this cold day
Today we came together as a school & village community to remember the fallen. Amazing readings from our Year 6 learners and a wonderful show of respect from even our youngest children. Lovely to see so many members of our village community along with the children.
A great afternoon of football another win for the boys 7-0 in the mountain league and a fantastic friendly against Drury girls with a 4-1 win to Sychdyn all players from both teams should be proud of how they played
A big well done to everyone who came into school today - so many firsts - our first day of school for reception, first day of juniors for year 3 and our first day of being in year 6 - thank you for the big smiles and your positivity we have loved today
Just when I am learning to distinguish between these ladies, they come to school like this 🤦♂️ They were so pleased to tell me that the ‘Thing’ badges were on Velcro, so they would be swapping throughout they day 🤣 No hope for me today
