County Road has just been reopened to motorists ahead of schedule. The road had been closed while @thameswater repaired a burst water main. A major section of the road surface, pavements and kerbs have been replaced following the damage caused by the flood water.

UPDATE ON SERVICES: 16:38 Gritting / Ploughing More than a hundred tonnes of salt was put on around 200 miles of the town’s network during three gritting runs yesterday – five times more than usual. Crews will continue to work around the clock to try to keep routes clear.
