Cooked with my mom over the holidays. I made Pomme William. I love this dish, it’s so cute. Basically a version of mashed potatoes called Pomme Duchess, shaped into pears, rolled in panko and deep fried with a clove in the top to simulate a stem.

Didn’t want to go out for my birthday this year so I ordered in from Palette Tea Garden and ate with Stiggy. Golden Swan Durian puffs, radish cake and Palette’s signature soup dumplings: turmeric crab roe, squid ink black truffle, spinach kale, paprika chicken, beets mince meat.
