MK11 in 2020 - MK11 is not announced for EVO - Music GOAT, Mick Gordon publicly states that he wanted to do the MK11 OST but the NRS heads of sound told him they don’t like his music. - NRS cancels the LCQ & spectators less than 24 hours from it starting. It’s only March.

@MortalKombat My biggest question is if this means that there will be a 2nd part of the story mode that introduces the parts that past & possible future DLC will play in this plot. If so, I never imagined NRS was committed to a 2 part story mode. Very impressive!

For the record, NRS either needs to either let her keep the infinite (since breakers exist & Kitana’s moveset was limited in this stress test) OR make the game cap this off at 3-4 repetitions before it doesn’t combo anymore or you special cancel. Either way, this is her sauce.

The biggest crime in NRS Competitive History was that we never got to see the current rendition of MKX at EVO. It would EASILY pull numbers, showcase the best gameplay, & have the most diversity of any NRS game to date in a top 8-16 setting. The game is in year 8 & still kickin!

Hot Take: All teleports in MK11 should require a bar of defensive meter to pull off. NO EXCEPTIONS. They change the pace of the game too dramatically to be as free & forgiving as they are. That’s one of the many random factors that should get toned down IYAM. Just my $.02 .

What if @EVO was a 4 day event where Thurs/Fri were for games like - Omen of Sorrow - FEXL - UNIST - KI - MVCI - MKX/I2 - Pokken - VF While the arena lineup games are to played on Saturday and Sunday? That’d be nice to see because the indie/small games get to shine too.

Just got discharged from the hospital. I Fell to a massive anxiety attack from serious stress a work that stopped me from breathing well (it still feels as if I have a football in my throat). Everything came back negative but I’ll need more tests. Thank you all for the wishes.

I’ve said for years that in order for the FGC to reach the eSports levels like COD, Fortnite, Gears, etc is to Have a format where the esports teams/clans/orgs/etc. are going head to head in team battles of 5v5, 4v4, or 3v3 and putting a ton of money into that venture.

NGL, I couldn’t agree more. Jaqui and Cassie have added absolutely nothing positive to the MK universe. Easily some of the most forgettable additions. I’d easily prefer to have Tremor, Rain, and others to be expanded upon than see those two wastes of space stick around.

Can the community band together on one thing for #MK11 tournaments: Can we please turn OFF the stage interactions for competitive play? No more corner escapes, stage weapons combat, etc. let’s go back to traditional play for Mortal Kombat and leave that junk for casuals.
