Good news! President Biden's proposed budget could save our region more than $40M and help get light rail to Tacoma, West Seattle, Everett and Ballard. Details:
With the possibility of freezing rain in the forecast, we'll be running trains all night to keep the Link system clear of ice. Crews will work hard to keep station platforms and other public areas clear - but please be cautious, as there may still be icy patches out there.

Taking flight! One of a pair of neon hummingbird sculptures by artist Claudia Fitch installed yesterday at the Lynnwood City Center Station. The sculptures are a nod to the restored wetlands near the station and a celebration of the history of neon road signs along Highway 99.
While the 1 Line is the best way to get around traffic, internal combustion-powered vehicles are not allowed ON trains. If you see anything amiss on board or at your station, please text the Security Desk at 206-398-5268.
If you'reย riding Link next week, keep an eye on the digital signage at our stations.

Weโre excited to tell you about changes weโre bringing to Link this year to improve your riding experience.
We are investing in a number of ways to welcome people back to the system as we see ridership climbing above pre-pandemic levels. ๐งต
Things are looking up with elevators and escalators. โฌ๏ธ
Weโve made great strides to ensure that vertical conveyances are available when you need them.
Escalators are running at about 92% overall availability now. Thatโs still short of our goal of 95%, but weโre getting close.
Due to a protest at UW Station, the station is currently closed. Trains are bypassing the station. Riders going to UW Station can exit at Capitol Hill or U District and use the Link Shuttle Bus to get to UW Station. We apologize for the inconvenience and will keep you updated.
Getting reasy to start your travel today? Just a reminder that Link is back to regular service this morning. No more transfers at Pioneer Square! Trains run ten minutes at peak hours today only and back to the usual eight minutes tomorrow. See you onboard!
We know your commute is different now and we look forward to seeing you back on board. Until then, we've got you covered with our new Tracks Suit for today's commute from your kitchen to your computer.
