Features Thread for ✨❄️ Winterblessed Diana ❄️✨
Let's start with her Pentakill Map Effect! When she gets a Pentakill, the map becomes snowy and an Aurora appears overhead for a few seconds. Everyone sees this, but it is slightly toned down for everyone but Diana.
We put a lot of emphasis and time in his Ultimate, in which he teleports you to his city. This was legit the most challenging effect I've ever gotten to work on.
We're trying something a little special for this skin~ 👀
When Empyrean Pyke gets a *Pentakill*, he breaks the dimension, creating a vast portal that covers a large portion of the map for a few seconds.
The R kills are intensified for Pyke and its victim.

The main feature of this skin are the two spirit badgers helping him out; they transform into big hands when it's time to punch!

Battle Queen Katarina's Features Thread!! ⏬⏬⏬
Her main feature is as follow: every three takedowns, she unlocks a new blade and equips it.
She has 6 blades in total. The first blade is always the same, as well as the very last one. The ones in-between are randomized!
We **really** wanted us to tie in Twisted Fate at least somewhere in his skin, and it felt best to have it in his death: Graves would have a blue card and TF would teleport him before he'd die, to make sure he'd be safe. You've no idea how much I begged for this to happen. :')

I was told I could have fun on this dance's VFXs so I put rainbowy RGB lights everywhere. 👀✨
Smol updates for Faerie Queen Karma!
Main feedback we received was that her ult moment didn't feel impactful enough.
I added VFX wings and a trail of flowers while her ult is active, and a small randomized burst of seasonal petals on activation.
Heyo everyone! Zilean is getting a little bit of VFX love in this PBE patch! 🕒✨
This update is 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘄 scope: it only aims at updating 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 of his 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲 VFXs to match his new Legends of Runeterra aesthetics.
Also coming in 10.18, a VFX Update for the Ignite Summoner Spell!
Our goal was to improve its visual quality while greatly reducing how noisy it was, but trying to keep its importance level.

Following player feedback and discussion with the team, I've replaced some of the big rocks from Dark Star Mordekaiser's R Arena with planets to make it more space-y.

We added more petals, details, impact and contrast, as well as a shockwave, to his R, especially his high health target R.
Also added the max grit aura while he's in the air.
As a Malzahar player, I always felt like his Voidlings did not have enough of an impact in the grand scheme of things.
Here is my attempt at giving The Prophet of the Void all the tools he needs to properly spread the Void in Runeterra. 💜
After my ranked winrate fell below 28%, I was like: "What am I doing wrong? What could I be doing better on Master Yi?"
And I realized that while we increased the reliability of Master Yi's Alpha Strike timing, we could push reliability/understandability even further:

Based on player feedback, we're adding some small transformation moments to Star Guardian Kai'Sa. ✨
She'll also stay in her brighter form for a few seconds after:
- Successfully recalling to base
- Casting her R
- Respawning
Following player feedback, I've made a few small tweaks for Cosmic and Dark Cosmic Lux:
- Fading in ult indicator over cast duration
- Added a bit more burst to both Rs
- Added more linger to Dark Cosmic's R
- Reduced Cosmic's E missile backdrop size

We've decided to address player feedback concerning Prestige K/DA Ahri's tails (this thread is specifically for her tails), and wanted to show the direction we're considering. This is still WIP! Let us know if you have any feels on this~!
Following overwhelming player feedback, I've added some VFXs to SG Ahri's dance. Trying to tie it a little bit to her cinematic by adding ripples. Also added some falling stars, bokeh dots and lights.
Nothing fragile about them.
Now live on PBE—Porcelain Protector Aurelion Sol, Porcelain Morgana, Miss Fortune, Darius, Graves, Irelia, and Prestige Porcelain Kindred.
Based on player feedback, we're adding a bit more oomph and sparkles to Star Guardian Kai'Sa's Evolve VFXs. ✨
Just like the other transformation moments we've added, she'll stay brighter for a few seconds after evolving.
Based on player feedback, I tweaked Dynasty Ahri's VFXs a tiny bit. This sadly has to stay low scope so I can't do too much, but hopefully this will make this skin a bit more special. I've also added some small petals and lights in her custom dance. Kit video in the next tweet!
