My first landlord in Nairobi were an old retired SDA couple. They made me dinner almost every other day and send their house-help to bring me. They would always check up on me and find out if there’s anything I needed and if I was okay.
There’s a Ugandan restaurant(Kwa Mganda)behind CMC Motors in Mombasa, Moi Avenue. Talk of death by food. Yaani they have food even at 7 am and they never joke with those portions.
Si kwa ubaya but can our local shows stop having this very familiar script of rich and influential families marrying each other but then a poor girl comes along and causes confusion. It’s such a tired story and just needs to end.

The craziest thing with the corporate world is how insensitive it can get at times. I remember being given a warning letter coz I took a week to mourn/bury my dad. I’ll never forget that wicked HR.
Today, I woke up to a text from the Mzee wishing me a very blessed month and saying that they always think about me and pray for me. I don’t know but I just felt that I needed to share that coz deep down in my heart I believe that this month is truly going to be a great one 🙏🏽

If we can build houses in a week then it’s obvious we are capable of building even schools and hospitals in the shortest time possible. Everything in this country is the way it is by design.
Good morning
@DCI_Kenya
how come we don’t have one of your well written threads on the uniformed police officers caught on CCTV breaking into a bar which had already closed and stole cash and beers?
Africa is a big ass continent. Did you know it would take you 11 hours to fly from Addis to Bamako? I don’t understand how they make Africa seem small on the map.

Haki wanaume! This one has been living with his pregnant “sister” in the same house together with his wife. Sasa leo ni drama 😭 she’s tired of pretending and she’s 7 months pregnant.
Man, we have to stop the bulshit in these public schools. Ati askari wanting to search my bag to check if I’ve carried snacks, my own snacks. I have refused that nonsense and told them off and I proceeded to get into the school. What kind of colonialism is going on?
Had a conversation with my best friend and we were talking about how tough this year has been but we are so grateful coz despite all the ups and downs, we have never lacked anything. I feel like those are the little miracles we tend to forget as we go along.
Someone is leaving an organization to be a house husband for a year coz the wife got a well paying job in the UK. I wonder what the toxic masculinity god would say.
Having a cop as a parent sio rahisi by the way. This babe was telling us one of her bro’s took her dad’s car without his permission, they were all summoned and Mzee removed his gun, nduru yenye walipiga is what helped them. It shouldn’t be funny but man, naisha 😂
My kid bro has been discharged from Kijabe hospital after undergoing a series of surgeries since last year August when he was involved in an accident. I’m grateful to Kijabe hospital and the amazing team and thank you to everyone here for your support and prayers.
