Our hearts are heavy with news of Cassidy Jones passing. Cassidy was our Boys JV Soccer coach, an alumnus and a member of the 1988 NY State and National Championship team. Our condolences to his family, former teammates friends and players. No one loved Shen more than Cass.

The low numbers of officials in many high school sports is reaching a crisis level. We really need to think about how we treat officials in high school and youth sports. If we don’t work at changing, we may not have the quantity (or quality) of officials needed to cover games!
