Today, the Israeli forces directly fired at me and my colleagues while we were covering a raid near Jenin. The experience of running for my life, dodging bullets alongside my colleagues, brought me back to May 11th, I remembered Sherin Abu Akleh. I recalled our attempt to escape.

مر شهر كامل، 30 ليلة وحتى اللحظة لا يزال ما حدث أمامي، لا زال صوت إطلاق النار في رأسي، ولا زالت شيرين ممددة تحت الشجرة، لا زلت عاجزة عن مشاهدة الفيديوهات ولا زلت غير قادرة على لمس الشجرة، الشجرة التي لا تزال شيرين نائمة تحتها أحاول الوصول إليها لإيقاظها ولا أنجح.

أنا شخصيًا، أقول لكم أنه بعد سنة، لم يعد لدي أي ثقة بالمجتمع الدولي في محاسبة "إسرائيل" على جرائمها بحق الشعب الفلسطيني وبحق كل ما هو فلسطيني على وجه الأرض، لا شيء يردع الاحتلال ويعاقبه، ولا يوقفه عند حده، على العكس أصبح يتفنن بأساليبه في قتل الفلسطيني في كل مكان.

الاحتلال يزيل دوار الحصان في مخيم جنين ويقوم بمصادرته. هذا الحصان صنع من بقايا مركبات المدينة ومركبة الاسعاف التي قصفها الاحتلال عام 2002 وكان يستقلها الدكتور الشهيد خليل سليمان واستشهد خلال عملية إسعاف وإنقاذ مصابين داخل المخيم.

في كل مرة يقتل فيها فلسطيني أعود إلى نفس اليوم، أبكي البكاء الذي لم يخرج مني يومها، اسأل نفسي: لماذا يحدث ذلك كله؟ مع نهاية العام، اتمنى أن تتحقق العدالة لشيرين وجنى ولكل الشهداء، وأن يعود اللاجئين ويتحرر الأسرى وأن يدفن ثرى الوطن، جثامين الشهداء المحتجزة في ثلاجات الاحتلال.

في كل مرة يستشهد فيها قائد في معركة يأبى الناس أن يصدقوا ذلك، يرددون "عايش، عايش" يعود إليه النبض مرة ومرتين وثلاثة إلى أن يستشهد، يأتي الناس فوق رأسه تباعًا يراقبون أنفاسه ودقات قلبه، يستشهد القائد في النهاية إلا أنه يقول للناس وللعالم ولمن قتله: "أنا عايش سأظل عايش"

المتحدث باسم الجيش الاسرائيلي يقول إن مستشفى الشفاء "رمز" وأن دخوله هو انتصار لم يكن يتوقعه أحد. هذه قصة مستشفى الشفاء باختصار، الاحتلال يعلم أنه لا يوجد أي أنفاق في المستشفى ولا يوجد شيء كل ما يحدث هو مجرد استعراض.

An important clarification: the lady in the photo is not the mother of the two kids; they are her relatives. She was trying to prevent the Israeli soldiers from arresting the two kids, who are friends and are both less than 10 years old. Unfortunately, they are still detained.
