Per the AP, Trump's recent legal debt is ~$542m. But in 2020 the NYT estimated his debt at $421m If he hasn't paid anyone significantly he currently owes almost 1 billion ($1,000,000,000) dollars. I feel like this is something journalists should tell voters, because he won't.
