Look at the image below, you've probably seen this symbol on your card or a PDQ - that means that contactless payment is possible, this is where you don't need to swipe or insert your card.
How it works:
I wanted chapo, so decided to order some. 4 brown chapos at KES 570 - I'm hungry, so ni sawa.
The merchant delivered white ones (which were cheaper) and this was the thickness of the said chapos 😭
It's almost 1 month since I got gifted the 2017 Peugeot 3008 Petrol GT by

.
Since then, I have covered over 1500KMs of mixed driving on-road, off-road. Now due to popular demand (always wanted to say that 😂), here's a quick review of Nala:
Also, plates 👌🏾
It's been about 10 months since this Peugeot 308 came into my life and inspired purchase of Nala.
At the time of buying, consideration was between VW Golf, Mercedes A180, Volvo V40, Mazda Axela and Toyota Auris.
So why on earth a Peugeot? This quick review will answer that.

Hey
@MeteoKenya
, why don't you do this, set this app via USSD with SMS alerts. Let users select their location from a list, then you can automatically send alerts for heavy rains and potential floods based on locations.
You can even allow multiple locations to be set.
Download the free FASTA-Ken App here: from

The app uses near real-time satellite imagery to provide a picture of storm conditions in your area over the next two hours. It updates every fifteen minutes.

You have probably seen this screenshot doing rounds and you wondered, "okay, how on earth did this happen?" While spoofing is a possibility, the real con game is with social engineering and that's what we should all be looking out for...

I have seen a number of tweets complaining about ghost M-Pesa SIM toolkit actions. In short, some folks are complaining that their toolkit is activating by itself and seemingly performing transactions.
While that is not 100% accurate, there is indeed something happening

It's been some time now since Safaricom launched M-PESA GlobalPay, which is a lot of names to say there's now a virtual card that you can create within the M-PESA app powered by Visa.
I have used it to make some payments online and here's my experience so far:

Fun facts:

I stopped coding coz I'm impatient💀

That means those user verification API calls are about to become more expensive!

Here's a strategy for remote folks, don't take that leave in Dec. Instead, keep working. Things slow down in Dec and you'll most likely end up not having that any tasks.
Then January when folks are back, you take your leave.

I know we're laughing but someone might be discouraged from this.

PHYSICAL CARDS QUICK THREAD
Just got some clarity from M-Pesa. Unfortunately, no physical cards are coming.
What we will be getting are two equally exciting new capabilities on M-Pesa:
