These deaths are the result of a complete disregard for human life & maritime law in the

IOM staff who were onsite to provide assistance report that ten other migrants are missing at sea.

Makbyel is the youngest survivor aboard

. He is 17 days old & spent almost half his life at sea. Following their rescue, his mother gave him "Sos" as a middle name.
He is among 114 survivors still waiting for a Place of Safety to be assigned for their disembarkation.
