Finally I've launched ChromeKit 🥳
I am keeping the price at 29$ for a few more days.
If you are looking to build a Chrome extension using ReactJS and TailwindCSS, you should get it.
Bonus: Everyone who purchases at this price, gets priority support & help from me.
@MarisaBrantley
Here's what has worked for me.
Anytime I am unsure if I like something, I just give it up.
If I notice that I keep returning to it, that is a clear indication that I do like it and that it was probably a burnout.
Made my 1st sale 🥳
I am also happy that
@HeyImYossi
is the one who purchased it.
In fact he was the one who suggested me to create a chrome extension boilerplate.
Thanks
@HeyImYossi
for the push.
@rakyll
Agree.
Gone are the days where simple solutions were valued. Complexity has somehow gotten understood as being smart.
Growing tech debt & complexity would demotivate developers and limit the growth of the business.
My freelancing work ended today. Reason - Market conditions are not good.
Am I disappointed? No. I still have my Full time job and now I can focus on my side projects 😁
I earned close to 2000$ for 3 months of work, 20 hours/month.
Launching my Chrome extension boilerplate 🚀
First 5 users to purchase, will get the best price. You won't get a better deal than this anywhere.
It's just 29$ (For the first 5 users)
⏰ Grab the deal now!!
Price will increase to 39$ for the next 10 users.

💰Today I made my first ever sale on Gumroad 🥳
And it was purchased by
@sumusiriwardana
. She has tried all of my apps and has been extremely supportive.
It has been an honour to connect with such amazing people on Twitter.
Prove yourself early even before the interview starts.
You can do it by building side projects, having your code in Github, StackOverflow answers etc..
Here is the latest project I've been working on.
QuickImages - It's a chrome extension that allows you to quickly generate images with the help of AI (Dall-E-3) in your browser.
If you are looking for a job as a developer, the first thing to get right is your resume. I have reviewed more than 200 resumes in the past and here are my observations and tips on how to make yours better. This is more relevant to developers in India.
@TheJackForge
I have done this multiple times and use my skill to convince the client to drop it. 😅
Use skills to either build the feature or get it dropped.
I am thinking of doing a live stream on how to make your first open source contribution.
I planning to cover these
- How to choose a project
- Overcome imposter syndrome
- How to understand the code
- Communication on issues and PR’s
- Types of contributions.
It took me only 10 minutes to create an OG Image for MetaExplorer.
How did I do it?
I built a product called "OG Box" a year back. Even though it didn't generate any sales, it has helped me greatly.
All your failed projects are stepping stones for your future successful one.
Finally got my chrome extension app to work with React + Tailwind.
This should be fun 🤩
I built Meta Explorer extension with Plain HTML + Vanilla CSS + JS. It wasn't fun 😅
Meta Explorer got 2000 users in just 2 days because of one viral tweet and few shares on Linkedin and Fb 🤯
It had 484 users before it. I was waiting for it to cross 500.
@dannypostmaa
This is still unacceptable.
An automated system shutting down your account and bringing down your production services is bad.
On top of it, they took 2 days to respond.
Good that you moved out of Heroku.
@sumusiriwardana
@SergiiKirianov
💯 Please take her advice. This is the best approach. Coming out of the interview knowing you responded is the best.
Responding doesn't mean you have given the right answer to all the questions. It's just that you were not stuck.
I have been working with
@thelifeofrishi
for over 2 months now on
@AppPika
API.
And we have done just 2 calls till now 😅
The funny thing is we didn't do an intro call and in fact we had our first call only after 10 days.
Here's how my freelancing is going.
No Calls.
No meetings.
No followups.
A task is assigned to me.
I code & push it to BitBucket.
And then on to the next task.
I wish more clients to be like this.
It's one thing when small accounts go after followers. But big accounts doing it is on a different level. I muted a lot of those big accounts and my feed is a lot better now.
The conversations and content are much better.
Hosting a NodeJS app in digital ocean for the first time.
Having used Vercel for so long, doing the initial setup in digital ocean was a bit cumbersome.
Is there a service that offers similar experience as Vercel, but for NodeJS?
