ICYMI....Best video of day! 4 year old Finn Lippert dancing with these Georgetown Sanitation workers. Mom Erin says Finn and other neighborhood kids love these guys, who always honk the horn as they come down the street. Finn decided today was the day to do some dancing!👍👍

9pm on Sept 21st, 1989, then Meteorologist in Charge of the @NWSCharlestonSC Dick Shenot told me he needed to come on @WCBD and let viewers know Hugo was not turning toward Myrtle Beach...it was coming right into Charleston Harbor. I will never forget those words. He was right!

Hugo remains the last major hurricane to make landfall along the SC coast. Not only did it change the landscape, it changed lives! It’s an experience I would rather not go through again, but we know a Hugo like storm will happen again. This is why each year we remember!
