Tabernacle Elementary today honored student Haden Bova, who died in a car accident that also took the lives of his parents. Haden’s brother, Tyler, a Trinity High student who survived the accident, attended. Also present were family, school staff, and classmates.

A change has been made to the Randolph County School System calendar: Monday, September 24, which was originally scheduled to be a 2-hour early release day, will now be a full school day.

As a result of school days missed due to snow, the Randolph County Board of Education has approved changes to our school calendar. January 2, which was scheduled as an annual leave day, is now a school day. January 23, which was scheduled as a workday, is now a school day.
