On 20 October we gathered at Reading Town Hall to pay tribute to the wonderful and well-respected colleague, mother and wife - Reading councillor and deputy Mayoress, Colette Dennis. Thank you, colleagues and family members, for attending this heart-warming memorial service.

One of the best things about my job is working with local charities. Yesterday I was signing off @ChemogiftbagsUK 's accounts. Can't put a price on it but last year they won not one but TWO awards: @PORawards charity of the year & @WoodleyCouncil volunteer of the year #Woodley

Kennet Island surgery. Had some pleasant conversations with residents. Topical issues & case work to follow up on. Cllrs had a bit of a ward catch up as well. Thanks to PBM & Ama for arranging the key for us too. Fidget & Bob takeaway tea 🍵 Jobs a good un 🌹

Thames Water: As Councillors we will press for enforcement action now and a future Labour government will - hopefully in the not too distant future - be forced to take action. 10/10
