Please don't be tempted to cool off in open water. Whilst the weather is warming up, rivers and lakes are still cold. Cold water shock catches even the best swimmers out. Remember to #FloatToLive if you get into trouble in the water: #BeWaterAware

False alarms can be caused by several issues, for example, aerosol sprays, cooking fumes or a fire alarm system that hasn’t been serviced properly. We are consulting on proposals to change the way the Service responds to these types of calls.

Well done to our Firefighter apprentices who completed a fundraiser for @firefighters999 on Saturday at two Berkshire locations - Lexicon and M4 Reading Services W. Initial counts show that around £7000 has been raised but there is still time to donate.
