Today we remember two firefighters killed and 20 injured in an explosion at a fireworks factory in East Sussex in 2006. The blast that killed Brian Wembridge and Geoff Wicker was so loud it could be heard 12 miles away. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by the incident.

It has been eleven years since firefighter Ewan Williamson was killed in a fire in Edinburgh's Balmoral Bar. Ewan was one of the two-man crew sent in with breathing apparatus, but was killed when the floor collapsed. Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time.

Today we remember Kevin Lane and Stephen Griffin who died in a Gwent house fire in 1996. Having carried a 5-year-old boy out of the blaze, they went back after being wrongly told a second child was trapped, and were caught in an explosion. Our thoughts are with their loved ones.

It's been 60 years since 19 firefighters were killed in a Glasgow whisky and tobacco warehouse blaze. At the height of the blaze, 450 people were fighting the fire, which took a week to extinguish. Over 16,000 people later lined the streets to watch the funeral procession.

Today we remember Kevin Lane and Stephen Griffin who died in a Gwent house fire in 1996. Having carried a five-year-old boy out of the blaze, they went back after being wrongly told a second child was trapped , and were caught in an explosion. Our condolences to their loved ones.

It has been 15 years since two firefighters were killed in a blaze at a children's clothing shop in Bethnal Green. Bill Faust and Adam Meere died while trying to rescue people trapped on the roof in East London. Our thoughts are with their friends and families on this day.

Today we remember two firefighters killed and 20 injured in an explosion at a fireworks factory in East Sussex in 2006. The blast that killed Brian Wembridge and Geoff Wicker was so loud it could be heard 12 miles away. Our thoughts are with all of those affected by the incident.

It has been ten years since firefighter Ewan Williamson was killed in a fire in Edinburgh's Balmoral Bar. Ewan was one of the two-man crew sent in with breathing apparatus, but was killed when the floor collapsed. Our thoughts are with his friends and family on this anniversary.
