@Chevistian1
Listen, I don't have a problem with the movie. The story and animation are really good. My problem is that the lead character looks too similar to both Isabela from Encanto and Alisha from Lightyear.
Peter Sohn, director of

, voiced Miles’ roommate Ganke Lee in ‘ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE.’
Sohn is the voice of Sox in ‘Lightyear’, Emile in ‘Ratatouille’, and more.
"Wish is the worst Disney movie" "Chicken Little Is the Worst Disney Movie"
Nah nah... Pocahontas is objectively the worst Disney movie. you can argue about quality, but that's subjective. Pocahontas messed with history, glorified a creep, aged up a 12 year old and tried to
@RiseFallNickBck
this is a great bait in switch cause it looks like he's gonna cringe at a nerd like a stereotype, but then it actually turns into something wholesome.
After Schnindler's List Spielberg refused to do movies that poked fun at Nazis (which is why Indy 4 has commies and why the Roger Rabbit prequel never got made)
But we need those movies. We need to make Nazis into our punching bags
Roger Rabbit himself said it best...

@jessiejuwono
To be fair CGI animation has pushed detail and realism about as far as it can go without getting creepy so it’s refreshing to see them going in a cartoonier direction.
"Modern Disney is too woke trying shove their politics in our face. Not like when I was a kid"
Examples of Disney movies when the people whining about this were kids:
animators... Don't be like this. it's very annoying. if you don't care for how something looks that's valid but don't gatekeep the concept of animation.

At least in the Chicken Little sequel that I made up (though one was planned at one point but my idea is better.) CL leaves Buck Cluck.
Chris Pine officially kicks off his reign as King Magnifico, the ruler of the Kingdom of Rosas, in this first-look from Disney’s all-new movie Wish, only in theaters this November!
@RayePickle
Nah Kuzco's always been pansexual. Like Deadpool. He's just as queer coded in the show as he was in the movie too. He just also happens to particularly like a specific girl. And frankly, she's great so i don't blame him.
@PryinBrian
It is possible to have a successful franchise last forever... but not in single TV show format. because then no one ever gets a long enough break. The Muppets are the masters of long running entertainment. they make themselves an event which makes it all the more special
@Schaffrillas
I love animation as an art form, but I gotta be honest... I'm more likley to enjoy something with cheap animation but really good writing than bad writing but really good animation.
@LocalWolfGang
@eddyburback
Honestly designs changing like this over time is pretty normal for a cartoon. I mean look at The Simpsons, or Mickey Mouse. AD's problem was it didn't happen gradually.
@GluffOfficial
These people aren’t critics. Critics analyze film subjectively and give it a recommendation or not based on their own experience. They don’t and shouldn’t treat those who enjoy films they dislike as “simpletons”
the animation industry is not in a great place right now... but anyone who legitimately thinks Disney is a "sinking ship" right now ... needs to do more research about Disney history.
ESPN and the NFL will present Toy Story Funday Football -- a fully-animated, real-time alternate presentation of the Falcons and Jaguars game from inside the Toy Story universe.
@ChaseMit
this is fan art. it's not real. they didn't overcorrect. from what I've seen of very brief glimpses of the character... he's just as dull and muted as you'd expect from the studio that did the Lion King remake.
@partysoda22
I’m not talking about studio competition I’m talking about people on twitter fighting for superiority when the actual artists all support each other.
@BladeRaisor
same with Paddington. I feel this whole "pitting Ted against children's character bear in violent battle" thing kind of misses what makes Ted (or at least the Peacock series) work.
Kids don't hate learning. they hate school. School is a very authoritative pro conformity institution. Not everyone wants to nor can learn the same way. and sometimes the things school teaches you are wrong anyway.
@CallHerBlossom
@DisneyAnimation
To be fair Disney Animation is kind of it’s own entity as are all the studios owned by Disney so their views don’t necessarily align with the company’s CEO
@somebadideas
I don't even like it when fictional characters are referred to as "property" now they're trying to make actual human beings property? I feel this surely breaks MANY laws.
@starteas
@pencilforge
Honestly think that's a cool way to pay homage to it without just inserting the characters themselves in a story they don't belong in.
it has offically been stated in an interview... The Makers of Rescue Rangers Were NOT intending to mock Bobby Discroll... and were commenting on the mistreatment child stars in general.
Critcism is important. a few things though
Your job as a critic is to critique art not the artist.
You need to EXPLAIN why something doesn't work. simply saying "it sucks" is not criticism.
no one is REQUIRED to listen to your criticism. Artists work hard +
Bad movies deserve to exist. literally a feature film of ANY quality is a tremendous amount of effort, and the fruits of that labor should be available for people to see even if they don't end up liking it.
I'm making a fan made documentary about the 2000s era Disney films, specifically 2001 to 2009 since I already did an entire doc about Groove (this is a sequel to that.)
@mexopolis
@KevinTemmer
Not entirely related but I also wish people would understand it's technically possible to go see big Disney and Pixar movies and ALSO Support independent stuff. You don't have to abandon one for the other. especially when you know people who've worked on both
