Satyrs also found their place in literature, as in Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Here the mischievous Puck embodies the seductive and unexpected libidinal nature. The connection between man and nature is explored in this dreamy tapestry of light and shadow.

In the art and mythology of the satyrs we find an ode to the natural urges, ecstatic joy and unpredictable beauty of life. A reminder that the boundaries between man and nature are blurred in a living, dancing maelstrom - a tribute to the Dionysian in harmony with the Apollonian.

In Arnold Böcklin's work the satyr embodies man's primordial connection to nature, leading the viewer into an idyllic, mystical landscape. He is not only an image of ancient mythology, but also a symbol of the unadulterated will to live and the unbridled desire for freedom.

Satyrs, those hybrid creatures with goat's legs and a human torso, embody a deep connection to nature and the Dionysian - the primal and the instinctive. Over the centuries, artists have immortalised these mystical figures in their works, exploring the duality of man and beast.

2. CFW @iamcfw A fantastic palette for "Myocardium". I like the different "materialities", structures and fields, but with a precise interplay that mimics the movement of the heart. A great loop that pulsates incessantly. (3/9)

Why I'm writing this now: remember the meaning of Mnemosyne: memory. With Ordinal Protocol, something similar is possible to "remember on-chain" forever. Hopefully one day we will be able to continue Warburg's idea in a meaningful way. (7/9)
