I am a big fan of $LIBRA. It's well written and the documentation is great. It has a potential to replace Ripple, Stellar, Ethereum, all Stablecoins, etc. For every other usecase when truly decentralized and uncensorable network is required, there will still be #Bitcoin !

If you wondered why Ethereum fees are high, here is a typical NFT smart contract function invocation onchain. ~80% of the data is zeroes. Booleans and uint8s are encoded using 32 (!) bytes each.

So it seems you can open the #Lightning channel from @Trezor using soon to be released @ElectrumWallet . Sending and receiving LN payments works and when the channel is closed, coins are settled into the Trezor again. Thanks @ElkimXOC for testing and Electrum team for developing!

What's the use for altcoins that have no intrinsic value, nobody uses them (except speculations) and they tank more when Bitcoin is tanking (so they cannot be used for diversification). Dump them while you can and reinvest into Bitcoin, which has great dev-team and future uses.

#BitFi is basically a closed-source @TREZOR with a preloaded constant recovery seed that cannot be changed, disabled PIN protection and enabled passphrase protection. If this is unhackable, so is TREZOR. Why would you turn off 3 of 4 protection mechanisms and use just one?

I know Bitcoin is great, but we also need Tor to be able to use the internet anonymously to fulfill its cypherpunk vision. Tor is being rewritten in Rust, but the project still needs to resolve issues with the current C implementation. Apply now!

Correction: it's 8+ TB and there are no nodes with full history as the first 32570 blocks are lost forever. 🤣
