Our #babyburrito came into this world 6/16 10:45pm a few weeks early because she wanted to see who was so tone deaf singing to her from outside. Meet Aubry Grace - 6 lbs 4 oz, 20 1/4 inches and already the light of my life.

I lost my sister & best friend to cancer earlier this year. I took a video clip of her laugh, turned it into a mp3 & pulled the soundwave of that recording. I had it tattooed and added a pink bird flying away. I’ll always have one of her defining characteristics as part of me.

The last 16 days have been a total blur. Aubry Grace came earlier than expected, so NICU has been our 2nd home but we’re past the roughest seas. She’s gaining weight, learning to eat on her own & changed our lives immeasurably. We’re looking forward to bringing her home soon!

I’m not afraid to admit I’m crying while walking to dinner. When Aubritto was born premature she was under 20% on all measurements (except her head). She had a checkup today and is healthy as could be. The NICU days seem forever ago.

My 2023 was a nightmare, I lost a child and my Irish twin within six months. My child Laura May was named after her aunt Laura and they’re resting together. But 2024 will be a huge year of change and unparalleled success as Tina, Aubry and I move forward.

I published my final story for @WPT @SHRHollyPoker for @pokerorg Here’s a By the Numbers for me: I published 13,721 words. I wrote 5,816 words of transcribed interviews & research. I recorded 66:32 of interviews. Filled one half of a reporters pad with hand written notes.
