I've seconded a resolution by @MikeBoninLA in support of federal legislation to allow fare-free travel on #publictransport . In recent years, our once car-dependent region has experienced growth in the number of people riding services provided by @metrolosangeles and @Metrolink .

Spent a wonderful morning today with @LAUSDSup visiting #MonluxES in CD2! We greeted students as they arrived, toured the Maker Room where where children learn about robotics, and had the opportunity to discuss issues such as safety and funding with school administrators.

The City Council voted unanimously today to prohibit the distribution and sale of EPS products (Styrofoam). The petrochemical industry is lying when they say these products are recyclable. Almost no plastic gets recycled, and styrofoam definitely does not.

The East Valley turned out for the 2022 Winter Wonderland at the Whitsett Sports Complex in in North Hollywood. My District Office and the LAPD gave away 30,000 toys while visitors enjoyed a snow slide, a petting zoo, music from the LAPD Mariachis and more.
