My father, Edward Zircher, passed away. He was 81.
He moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1977 and lived near the mountains west of the city for 40 years. He was a working man, packed a lunch, put on his boots, and provided.
He loved his family, friends, and sons dearly.
And I love him.
This image really captures what the X-Men are about; protecting those who were born different.
I think sometimes we forget how strong a message that is for comics to present.
My dad earned $3.25/hr when he bought his first house for $12k. That house sells for 140k now.
A young home buyer today would need to earn $37.70/hr to have the same home-buying power.
Something broke between then and now.
