Middlesbrough will apply to become a city in 2022 in a show of ambition & confidence. A motion to launch the bid was passed at a council meeting with cross-party support. In a near unanimous vote, the town’s councillors backed a move supported by 90% in a public poll

Big thanks to @Boro player @IsaacFletcher02 for launching the new bit of kit at Bonny Grove Park in Marton. Cllr Chris & John Hobson secured funding for the equipment called a Teqball table. As you can see I had a disastrous try – but the young players were v impressive ⚽️
