Franck Kessié officially signs for Barcelona. A deal we knew was complete for some months, and that Barça have now announced. Getting more excited by the day to see what Kessié will bring to Xavi’s Barça. I think this could be an ‘underdog’ signing for us. Welcome to Barcelona!

Got to say I’m really happy for Memphis Depay. I actually rate him as a really quality footballer and I think he’s done well for Barça. The talk of him being unprofessional is utter rubbish - he’s a model pro. His play with his back to goal is superb and his tricks are genius.

How much better has Ferran Torres looked of late? So good to see because I massively rate Ferran and think he should be a big player for Barcelona. We know he's a big player for Luis Enrique and Spain, so this is good news for the World Cup too. Looking so much better. 🇪🇸👊

Important win for Barcelona in La Liga after a very troublesome week or so for the club. Lewandowski with two great goals, Ansu Fati on the scoresheet too. Koundé, de Jong, + many more were excellent tonight. Very good performance from all I thought, much needed. Onto Athletic.

UEFA confirm that Barcelona are not amongst the clubs who have breached FFP this transfer window. Comes as absolutely no surprise to me. Laporta’s board have done things very well this summer, despite what some pundits and journalists may want to tell you. All clear.

@BarcaUniversal Actually very good. I'm aware he continues to miss big chances, but having him on the right wing helps the team so much as a whole - we're better when he's on the pitch, tracking back, linking up play in the final third also. Overall, I'm happy with Griezmann tonight.💪

OFFICIAL: Alejandro Balde replaces José Gayà in Spain’s World Cup Squad and will be part of Luis Enrique’s team in Qatar. Gayà is a big miss for Spain - superb left-back, especially defensively. This is a massive moment for Balde though, and a deserved one too. Fantastic player.

I think Barcelona have got to be pretty pleased with that result. That was a tough game all 90 minutes long, and I thought Frankfurt were excellent. Xavi got the line-up wrong, and we weren’t at our best. We’ve got to take the draw. Winner takes all at Camp Nou.

How many weeks on end are we going to come here and just be in absolute awe of Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi’s performances. 16 and 17 years old. This is not normal. To be playing at that level, consistently, in these circumstances, is quite simply incredible. Out of this world.

Jules Koundé is the best CB in Europe for me right now. Has every attribute you'd want in a modern day CB. Pace, power, timing, anticipation, ball-playing. But my god has he been good this campaign. Absolutely immense. Dominates all facets of the game. The real deal. 🇫🇷👏

Ferran Jutglà's Barça B form has really gone under the radar. Jutglà impressed upon his call-up to Xavi's first team, but since dropping back down to the B, he's been exceptional. Scores essentially every game, and has been the model professional. Very impressive, well done! 🔵🔴

I'm behind the Grada D'Animació. They get unwarranted stick, but they create a strong atmosphere at Camp Nou, and are a friendly supporters group, unlike Boixos Nois. Would definitely like to see entirety of their capacity filled (not covered with flags), but they do a great job.

It’s all over! Argentina have done it! Argentina win the Copa America vs Brazil, winning 1-0 with a Di Maria goal. They have won their first major trophy since 1993, and Messi has finally won a trophy with the national team. Romero, De Paul & Di Maria were excellent. 🇦🇷🏆
