Next, someone is in charge of scavenging for groceries. In their area, essentials like eggs are extremely overpriced so they have to walk several kilometers to find slightly more affordable groceries. Groceries typically consist of canned goods & non-perishables. 7/

They called all relatives and friends for tips on where they may be able to stay. Everyone is at capacity. Some homes have 6 or 7 families in a space meant for 1. Resources are scarce. No reliable source of food, no water, no necessities... 2/

I don't have a way to help them. I don't know the situation on the ground. I don't know if there is an imminent airstrike or if the threat is general. All of Gaza is under threat...under constant risk of airstrikes. The myth of a "safety zone" is just that... a myth. 5/

I think we're losing contact with family.😞 Last contact was that electricity is cut off, power sources running low & they don't know when they'll be able to reach out again. It's 9:13 pm now. Darkness sets in. Airstrikes overhead. And we wait to see if they will survive... 💔

I kid you not, I just received attacks & threats from a HEALTHCARE WORKER for starting a humanitarian aid campaign for civilians in Gaza thru a verified UN organization. "You're an Antisemite!" I wasn't aware that collecting donations for civilians during war was Antisemitic.
