Pokémon Fossil Museum!! You'd struggle to put together three words I like more ❤ 🦖 What a lovely exhibit showing off how COOL the human-world prehistoric creatures that inspired Pokémon characters are. And neat seeing the Bastiodon and Tyrantrum skeleton sculpts from WCS 2019.

10 years ago today I went to my first #PlayPokemon event, VGC UK Nationals 2011, and was far more happy to see Oshawott than he was to see me. Was knocked out in Round 2 because I thought Prankster affected Endeavor, but I made a bunch of new friends and had a grand old time.

@AJapaneseDream This might just be me but, when navigating the bag in SWSH, I automatically want to use L+R to change pockets and left and right on the D-pad to move up and down a page of items in the pocket I'm in; and this is the reverse of how the game reads those inputs.

Today I ticked off my bucket list "snorkel along the Great Barrier Reef". I saw, among others, a white tip reef shark, clownfish, giant clams, flying fish, nudibranchs, barracuda, huge parrotfish and a turtle! Truly awe-inspiring stuff - I don't have words to do it justice. 🦈🐢

One of my favourite things about Alola is how they bolstered the theme of Pokémon and people living in harmony with little details like the houses having Pokémon beds and food bowls. Little world-building motifs like this are something that made me love this series.

I received the most beautiful gift today: my other half commissioned @jmclarenstudio , an artist whose work I absolutely love. The songs of our local blackbirds helped us get through lockdown, and the map covers many haunts of the life we've built together. It's perfect ♥
