Oakland A's have been in the playoffs 2 yrs in a row. Don't recall no SF MUNI buses saying "GO A's". Raiders were 12-4 a few yrs back. Don't recall no SF MUNI buses saying "GO RAIDERS". This so called BAY LOVE always seems to move in only one direction, away from Oakland. #NotMe

@nhanson_reports Oakland has dense urban, suburban, and even rural neighborhoods. Oakland has big estates on Skyline Blvd with horses and all kinds of different residential architecture. It’s an incredible city. I haven’t seen a city like it in the US, and I’ve traveled a lot.

My new job in downtown Oakland has a city center office overlooking city hall and Oakland is so damn beautiful. Downtown is always pleasant and lively, especially with the sun coming out. Its rather jarring when comparing it to the crime videos from unspecified dates.

The most recorded murders in Oakland was 175 in 1992. The 3rd most was 148 in 2006 under “tough on crime” Mayor, Jerry Brown. Oakland has not reached that number of murders again since Jerry Brown was Mayor. Like I said: a lot of y’all ain’t really from Oakland and it shows.
