A two-day joint Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) Blitz in the City of Thunder Bay has resulted in numerous charges being laid. #TBayOPP and the NWR TIME Team teamed up with @ONtransport to conduct a CMV Blitz on the Highway 102/Dawson Road corridor. In total, 126 charges were laid

#NipigonOPP conducted a traffic stop and seized approx. $700,000 in illegal tobacco. Driver was charged for trafficking contraband tobacco and possession of proceeds of crime. Vehicle and trailer were seized as offence related property. Excellent work!^mg

#AtikokanOPP conducted a traffic stop on November 24th in the Town of Atikokan. Officers were able to locate suspected illicit substances, Canadian currency, and items related to drug trafficking. Two individuals were arrested as a result of the traffic stop. ^HJR

On February 15, 2023 members of the #DrydenOPP detachment and #CommunityStreetCrimeUnit initiated a traffic stop of a vehicle for offences against the HTA. The occupants were found with a large quantity of drugs valued at $254,000.00. Both accused were held for bail. ^rf.
