I’m sitting at a Starbucks in my hometown (Reston, VA) and the baristas know 70% of the customers by name. At my hip “neighborhood” coffee shops in the city I’d bet it’s less than 20%. Easier in suburbs vs city, but still cool. Starbucks is such a remarkable company.
