My debut novel, ‘Paro - Dreams of Passion’ was published 40 years ago, in 1984. It has remained in print since. In her article ‘What Zeenie Baby taught us in 2023’ @sagarikaghose mentions Paro as ‘pushing the envelope on freedom’ - along with Anita Desai and Kamala Das.
