I'd say focus on being competent. - study the codebase - learn about the product - learn the tech stack. Your senior expects you to learn and contribute to the project. Ask questions and be teachable. Your growth is an investment for the team I'm not a senior btw 😅

I think it depends on the goal also right? If you knew you wanted to do Engineering (Civil, Electronic, Electrical), why consider CS right? But, I do agree that learning CS for a non CS student is much easier compared to learning Engineering. So if you want CS, amik jela CS.

Dia bukan sebab "the tools" yang prblematic, tapi "the usage of tools". Most of the case, log is not needed in FE, unless necessary. Even, saya percaya ramai yang tak tau kewujudan console lain - warn, table, assert, trace - those provide better logs.

I'd say the adoption of Go in companies is increasing, but it's not substantial yet. They're probably a lot more Java and Node openings compared to Go Some companies that use Go are Grab, Xsolla and GxBank But it's still a great language and i love it a lot. (Yes I'm biased)
