Feeling a big bit terrified about what today will bring for me after 3 days of tests confirming worst case scenarios. As long as today doesn’t go worst case everything else is a bonus isn’t it? And now these 3 remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love ❤️‍🔥

Christmas breakfast? No. Christmas dinner? No. Failed cannula after changing insulin cartridge and tubing and cannula? Oh yes. Had dinner when glucose was 24.2⬇️⬇️ and then landed nicely. It is only one day. #TimeInHappiness was 100% even if glucose only made it to 65% 🎄🌟

The reason me and me diabuddies are not poster people is because the devices being sold have exactly the same impact on your body as a wrist watch has on your ability to control the traffic flow on your journey to work or the delivery of your online shopping.

@IsMiseJoanneM My son Conchúr wears his Down GAA top when he’s out and about. His girlfriend wears her club top from the GAA team she plays for. They both speak and read Irish. They are communicant members of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. I am fiercely proud of both of them 💖

Posting this because it’s A) totally unrepresentative of my glucose levels over the past number of weeks B) I don’t think this is going to last much longer and C) 8 hours of time in range is still 1/3 of the day with blood glucose not being an eejit
