So proud of my daughter's Girl Scouts troop at Harvard Elementary. They adopted a drain near school that they have been cleaning. The girls noticed a hole in one of the covers that a foot could get caught in. So they wrote the mayor a letter and got a response! The city fixed it!

So many revealing moments in this amazing story. Like this one about Lina Hidalgo in Feb: Her communications team kept including a standard CDC talking point in her speeches - that the risk to the American public remained low. Hidalgo kept taking it out.

So I was trying to select a block of work emails to delete but accidentally deleted my entire inbox and completely freaked out but then I realized it was actually a brilliant move. I feel so organized now.

I have always walked my 11-year-old daughter to school, hugged her goodbye and did our secret handshake. Today she insisted I let her walk by herself. "You need to let me be responsible," she said. So we did one last farewell handshake in middle of crosswalk and off she went.

My 8-year-old saw @alisoncook 's Top 100 restaurants list in my car and asked how it was put together. "Wait, so the Chronicle pays for the food? They ACTUALLY pay for it?" she gasped. Yes. "OK, I've changed my mind. I am going to be a food critic."

As someone who was paralyzed around the same age with polio like Sen. McConnell, I can tell you this is not funny. People with post-polio syndrome, like him, me, can struggle with balance due to weakened limbs. Take this down Adam and learn more about polio.

We have lots of "major hospitals" in Houston. So cherry picking just one is not very meaningful. The latest SETRAC data, from 11 hospitals in Houston, shows 225 patients waiting in ER for a general bed to open and 56 were waiting for an ICU bed to open. So on par with last week.

After @small_asher asked HISD officials today about why the district was showing students a Conservative PragerU video questioning climate change, HISD said it would discontinue using the video.
